Client engaged in an argument with his step-father which lead to his step father backing the car over top of Attorney Meranda's client. The Client subsequently threw a rock and broke out the back window of the vehicle. This lead to the client being charged with Criminal Damaging; a misdemeanor of the second degree. The Client was facing up to 90 days incarceration and a $750.00 fine. Attorney Meranda conducted his own investigation and found out that the alleged victim did not want to proceed with criminal charges. This was brought to the attention of the State of Ohio and the case was subsequently dismissed. Another victory for one of the firm's clients.
