Client was facing multiple counts of pandering in nudity of a minor and possible sexual battery offenses. All of the offense would have been felonies of the second degree carrying mandatory incarceration time. Defense Attorney Zachuary Meranda was retained prior to the client being indicted and was able to work out a plea deal where the client plead guilty to three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, all felonies of the third degree. The client was facing up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine on each offense; for an aggregate sentence of 15 years and a $30,000 fine. Attorney Zachuary Meranda was able to negotiate out a plea offer that allowed the defendant to serve a total of six (6) years in prison with court costs and fees imposed. At the end of the day the client realized he did wrong, but wanted to make his wrong right. He did this through the assistance of Attorney Zachuary Meranda. Through Meranda's plea deal the client will still have an opportunity to live a full life after he completes his minimal term of incarceration.
