Another Drug Case Dismissed - Client Charged with Possession of Drug Instrument - O.R.C. 2925.12 - Misdemeanor of the Second Deg

Client was stopped with passenger in vehicle for a minor misdemeanor marked lanes violation. Through the Police Officer's investigation, it was founded that the passenger had on his person hypodermic needles used for injecting Heroin. The client/driver was unaware the passenger had this on his person. Through a mix up on the Police Officer's part, the client was charged with having possession of said needle -- otherwise known as Possession of Drug Instrument, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

The client was facing up to 90 days incarceration, a $750.00 fine and a potential license suspension.
